Rachel, a chaste Amish girl (Britt Ekland) decides that since dancing is mentioned in the Bible and Minsky's Manhattan burlesque house is not, joining the chorus line must be all right with God. When her Fundamentalist father comes roaring after her for "uncovering thy protuberances," she defies him by jettisoning her clothes onstage, thereby creating the striptease...

...Britt Ekland is a bland Julie Christie. At least Miss Christie is slightly knockneed and her eyes don't water at the sight of a chipmunk. I suppose Miss Ekland--along with automobiles and orgy rooms equipped with Louis Quinze furnishings and electric gimmicks--excites somebody. There on-screen is the fulfillment of somebody's fantasies...
