Horace Liveright, publisher: "Rabbi Samuel Schulman of the Temple Beth-El, Manhattan, devoted an entire sermon to 'A Nasty Book.' Rabbi Schulman refuses to name this 'stinking, tingling book' which is 'making enough money for its author and publisher as it is.'
