Fifteen Seniors and eight Juniors have been elected to the Phi Beta Kappa Society. In pre-war years it has been the custom to elect 22 Seniors in addition to the Junior eight in November, but this year, owing to the conditions arising from the military regime at the College, the first election was postponed until February. Because several men who were in line for election have not yet returned to College, the number of Seniors elected has been reduced from the customary 22.
