Dr. Angell is known to have many valuable ideas on the subject of undergraduate life and education in general. Before his election to his new position, he was regarded as an authority on all matters connected with the training of young men. President-Elect Angell took his degree of M.A. at the University of Michigan in 1891, and in 1892 received the same degree from the University. He then became an instructor in phychology at the University of Minnesota, and later became connected with the University of Chicago, of which he was made Dean in 1911.
