President and Mrs. Charles W. Eliot, who have been in Bermuda since March 16 on a vacation, are due to arrive in New York today. The steamer may be somewhat delayed by the storm of the past few days, but if the President arrives before 10 o'clock this evening, he will attend a dinner of the Long Island Harvard Club in Brooklyn, where he is expected to speak. There have recently been added to the Warren House Library a number of German classics from the private library of Charles Eliot Norton '46, among them 30 volumes on the Niebelungen Lied, and rare copies of the first editions of Goethe's Iphigenie Auf Tauris, 1790, and Schiller's Wallenstein, 1800. Work has begun on the Grace Hopkinson Eliot Hall, named for Mrs. Eliot, which is being erected out of the fund given for the purpose by Mrs. David P. Kimball of Boston. The hall, which will be for the use of Radcliffe students, will be built on the corner of Shepard and Walker streets, next to Bertram Hall, also the gift of Mrs. Kimball. The hall, designed by Mr. A.
