When crusty, 80-year-old Judith Pedlock visited London, she wrote a postcard to her daughter Gertrude reporting that the weather was rainy, that the stiffness had left her right knee, and that she was bringing back to the U.S. a Mr. Jacob Ellenbogan, whom she intended to marry.
