Professor Holcombe, who expects to make Russia his final goal on his trip in Europe, spoke briefly in his last letter to Professor Elliott of the various points that he had visited, and some of the incidents that befell him on the way. Arriving at Port Said, Professor Holcombe says that there he had made a brief survey of the government, and then proceeded on to Geneva, where he attended the meetings of the league of nations.
