...home in Boston. He was the son of Hon. Edward Wigglesworth who graduated in the class of 1822. After completing his regular college course at Harvard Dr. Wigglesworth entered the Medical School from which he graduated in 1865. In June, 1862, he became medical assistant in the employ of the United States Sanitary Commission, before Richmond, and on September 26 of the same year he enlisted as a private in the Forty-Fifth Massachusetts Volunteers.
