Harvard's first two touchdowns were made in the first eight minutes of play after Hoar had blocked Kearney's punt on the Bates 20-yard line. Harvard got the ball on the 15-yard line, Corbett went around left end for seven yards and White made four yards through left tackle. Corbett tried right guard for two yards and Smith carried the ball through the same place for the first touchdown. Burr kicked the goal. Kearney kicked off again to Corbett who picked the ball up on the 5-yard line and with splendid interference ran the whole length...

There will be no regular Freshman rowing this fall, but it is hoped that as many Freshmen as possible will participate in dormitory rowing, which will begin the later part of this week. The dormitory races will be held towards the end of October, and at that time men will be selected for the graded crews race, to be rowed over the one and seven-eighths mile course in the basin about the middle of November. The usual practice of picking men from the graded crews for the University squad next spring will be followed...
