Maryland Jail. Between the bank of the Choptank River and the village green in leisurely, New Englandish Denton, Md., stands the Caroline County Jail. It is a charming place, accommodating some 25 prisoners, 18 of whom are convicted bootleggers. Last week, Sheriff William F.
