Thus far the Freshmen have supported their dormitory teams very poorly, but provided 1918 shows enough spirit to complete the interdormitory football games, the winner of that series will be challenged by the winning eleven of the Haughton Cup series to play two out of three games for the championship. Yesterday afternoon 9 men from Gore and 8 from Smith Halls reported for practice for the interdormitory football series. Not enough men from Standish appeared for that eleven to take the field. Unless more players come out and the regular men report every day the series will be a failure. The next game is scheduled for tomorrow between Smith and Gore...

Many more Freshmen are needed to come out for the interdormitory teams as there are hardly enough men to complete the series. Gore at present has not a full eleven and Standish and Smith have hardly enough to put two teams in the field without substitutes. Now that baseball and rowing have practically completed their fall seasons it is hoped that new candidates will report at the Locker Building today...
