Treebeard, an Ent (shepherd of the woods) reluctantly drawn into the conflict, has the stately, smiling gravity of Bernard Shaw. And the digitized Gollum is wonderfully complex. At first a whiny Jar Jar Binks as he might be played by Klaus Kinski, Gollum soon reveals a complex pathos and a facility of expression...

The Q in the brand name doesn't stand, as I had imagined, for "Quick, get me an ent guy," but rather for the suspicious-sounding quality. I also found out that Q-Tips were originally called Baby Gays. This doesn't help make my case, but it did make me really happy...
