Fall rowing will terminate this afternoon with a final race between the remaining University and Freshman crews. Two Yearling eights, picked from the fall crop of oarsmen, are still practicing on the river, and will meet the University A, B, and C combinations. These last crews are equal in status, as no formal order is attempted in fall rowing. The race will take place over the mile course at 3.45 promptly. After this contest organized University rowing will stop, but voluntary work in the tank will be resumed next week. The Freshmen who have elected rowing as a sport, however...

When it is known that Japan is prepared to give assurance that Japanese immigration to America will be restricted, and that negotiations are proceeding with this understanding to conclude a new treaty that will assure Japan of equal rights with other foreign nation.
