Columbia's plans for a national industrial engineering research centre are fast taking shape. Two sites have already been offered for the proposed laboratories. It is proposed to erect immediately research laboratories to cost $350,000, with equipment to cost $150,000. The entire project calls for an ultimate endowment of from $2,000,000 to $5,000,000.
