...Worcester Saturday afternoon 4 to 1. The game was slow and rather loosely played. Harvard lost because the men lacked the ability to hit when hits meant runs, and the base running of the University team was not of the first order. Had it not been for an error Holy Cross would have scored a shut out. Lynch, the undefeated freshman pitcher of the home team, kept the Harvard hits well scattered, and his varying degrees of speed proved very effective...
