...unusual case of fever, believed to be due to peritonitis, is reported from Escanaba, Mich. Dr. H. J. Defnet, City Health Commissioner, reports that he and five other physicians have examined a girl patient suffering for ten days from a temperature of around 114 degrees. At times the temperature apparently went higher, but clinical thermometers at hand could record no higher.
