S. citizens who suffered War losses (in the sinking of the Lusitania, etc.) have claims against Germany which the peace treaty declared should be adjudicated by a mixed claims commission. This has recently been done. The claims allowed amount to something over $200,000,000. These remain unsatisfied. Under the Dawes Plan the U.
