Hostess Belle Livingstone of Manhattan's "Fifty-Eighth Street Country Club" (TIME, Nov. 10 et seq.) was taken again to federal court and found guilty of con tempt for having violated a personal in junction restraining her from liquor dealing. The defeated defense counsel maintained that Miss Livingstone did not own the Club, was there as paid hostess only in order to gather material for her forthcoming work, With Livingstone in Darkest America.
