...Northfield Student Conferences began more than 40 years ago at Mt. Hermon, and were moved the next year to East Northfield where they have been held ever since. Many similar organizations have been established in other portions of the country with great success. The complete personnel of the Harvard delegation has not yet been determined upon. All who are interested should communicate with Phillips Brooks House as soon as possible. Last year the University's representation was very much cut down on account of the war, and so it is especially desired to secure a large delegation this spring...
...total number of volumes in the Loan Library is nearly 3,000. This sounds like a large number, but many, probably over half of these are out of date and the need for new books is as great as ever. The need for new books is really greater than ever, as the clothing collection last fall netted scarcely any books at all. A great deal more is expected from the collection this spring...

After reading these reports we cannot help but feel a renewed interest in and admiration for the ever-growing work carried on by the Phillips Brooks House Association. We print the reports today in the hope that as many members of the University as possible will read them. For to read them is to feel as we do. They are a record of the phenomenal progress and well-deserved success of a work assumed unselfishly and thoroughly well done...
