While any shark 6 ft. long or more is potentially dangerous to humans, some species are more aggressive than others. None is considered deadlier than the great white. This huge fish, which can exceed 20 ft. in length and 2 tons in weight, is relatively rare among sharks but is responsible for more recorded attacks than any other species. Most of those have occurred off California, in the so-called Red Triangle, which extends from Monterey Bay to San Francisco to the Farallon Islands, 30 miles offshore...

...boss likes his staff settled down and therefore a little desperate: you know, mortgage, car and tuition payments, maybe a few bills from the orthodontist. When obligations exceed income, the folks at his ad agency work harder and more loyally. That's his theory, anyway, and Kate (Jennifer Aniston) doesn't fit it. In 2005 the agency hopes to exceed even these ambitious plans, launching the first-ever round-trip Mars ship, one capable of landing somewhere on the surface, then flying back to Earth carrying with it a few precious handfuls of rock and soil...

That accomplishment would be due to the spadework of Chirac and Juppe, who have already done much of the hard work of belt tightening, downsizing and preparing to privatize unprofitable state industries. But their efforts to tackle more structural reforms like deregulation, labor- market flexibility and trimming back the welfare state have met with stubborn public resistance...
