Following Swanson, University Professor Paul J. Tillich had a somewhat different view on the religious revival. He maintained that it stemmed from man's realization of the fact that his technology is unable to solve all human problems. When you have a document to which educated speakers of various languages should have access, Interlingua comes in as a handy tool. That is all. Everything else I have ever written or said on the subject represents an effort to explain to myself and to others why it is that Interlingua works well when it is thus used.
