...Fac." apparently originated when the College was more like a school than a large University and when the students were imbued with that spirit of prank playing natural to such a situation. As long as the College remained a College this spirit was fostered and some explanation could then be made for the existence of such an organization although its existence was to our minds unjustifiable. But now times have changed, the University has put away childish things and the "Med. Fac." is out of date...
