Such a miraculous preservation of life, accompanied with the sudden death of the unfortunate people who had gone out for a holiday, cannot fail to arouse in our minds the most serious thoughts, while the fate of the oarsman, whose familiar face will be missed at the boat-house, is a sad event to record.
