Today's game with Brown is the last before the beginning of the series with Yale. It will afford the only remaining opportunity to judge of what we may expect in the two final contests. The makeup of the team is the same as the one which will face Yale on Thursday and we can safely look forward today to one of the best games of the season...
...little after one o'clock this afternoon. The occasion of their departure should be a matter of interest to the whole college for they no less than the 'varsity men, have to uphold the honor of the college. They have worked hard for their class and this in face of an apparent spirit of indifference as shown by the way the class subscriptions have been paid. If the crew cannot feel certain of the support of every member of their own class, the college should make them feel that they are representing Harvard and that Harvard is back of them...

The men all kept bunched together and on the lower turn of the third lap, a collision occurred which pulled four men out of the race. Berlo remounted but could do nothing. Quinn, 70 yards, finished third...

For Harvard, no one could hit Moore safely except Hayes. He made a hit every time he came to the bat. In the field the nine did better, and Winslow's playing at third was especially good. The game...
...difficult to understand. Every man in the infield made one or more errors. The worst feature of all was the base running. A stranger to the game would not have known that any such thing as coaching was allowable. This criticism may sound a little unfair in the face of the praise that has been bestowed upon the freshman nine for most of the season, but anybody who was present at the game will not question the truth and justice of all that is here said against them...
