...programs and initiation of capital formation and human resource studies, along with a tremendous turnover in personnel, have given the bureau new vitality. "The bureau has always been a great institution, and periodically it needs renewal," he says. "Now, it has been renewed." Eckstein adds that a factual and empirical focus is not subject ot renewal; the NBER's first president began the bureau in a rebellion against the theoretical thrust of economics at that time. However, a mere factual error on your part is hardly as disturbing to me as Maurice Lazarus' contention that FDS is uninvolved with the boycott. His error is not just factual but runs to the heart of the corporate responsibility issue. There are lao (valley of dawning inspiration), Kapilau (sprinkle of rain on leaves), Lanilili (rippling surface) and Waiakoa (waters used by warrior). Kaanapali is "rolling cliffs." It is comforting when boating off Wailea to know that the "waters [are] governed by Lea," goddess of canoe making. Lahaina is "land of prophecies...

Admitted my article contained two factual errors, which were the result of inadequate communication between the article's editor and myself and misinformation supplied me by a member of the conference's student government committee. Organizers can title their bookjets what they want, but the conference was commonly called the "Little 11" even after MIT dropped out. And 20 was an approximation of how many Harvard-Radcliffe students went down...
