...interesting throughout. The pictures are even better than those of the preceding articles. "Pletro Mascagni" is a short biographical sketch of the composer of Cavalleria Rusticana with a critical study of his work. One of the best articles in the number is "New England Art at the World's Fair." Its principal attraction is the long list of illustrations which are copies of the pictures sen+++ to the Fair. The short stories of the number, "A Professional Lover" and "At the Meeting of the Circle" are, as usual, poor. "Milton as an Educator" is a reprint of an address...
