...three University crews were out on the river as usual yesterday afternoon. A fair amount of improvement, as a result of the work of the past week, was apparent. The first University, in a mile brush yesterday with the crew of the Union Boat Club, was beaten by about a length and a quarter in an upstream race from the Union Boat, Club to the Harvard Bridge.
