Since the day Germany invaded Poland the word Asse ("Axis") has not appeared in the Italian press. The "plutodemocracies," meaning France and Britain (and sometimes the U. S.), which all summer long were the object of Fascist journalistic abuse, now get more or less fair press treatment.
