Penn has been fiercely recruiting in all sports for several years, and last fall the program had a visibly rejuvenating effect on Quaker football. The Red and Blue were undefeated when they met Harvard in late October, and they lost only to the Crimson and Yale, 18-of-25 lettermen return, including quarterback Bernie Zbrzenj so Penn will be a contender, but when they last won the Ivy title, in 1959, they had a ground attack.
