There are four regular crews rowing, and besides these, about ten spare men who do daily work in pairs and singles. Several changes have been made during the past week in the order of the crew. J. H. The men who turned out early in the year were nearly all promising candidates; they have worked hard and the team now chosen is well up to the Freshman standard. ...Varsity fall handicap track meeting was held yesterday afternoon on Holmes Field. In spite of the heavy track and the inclemency of the weather all the events were well contested and the times very good for fall races. All the heats of the sprints were close, scarcely a foot separating the first three or four men.
