...HAVEN, Feb. 28, 1908.--The University basketball team was again defeated by Yale tonight by the score of 16 to 12. The game was fast and clean throughout, few fouls being called on either side. The work of the University team was by far the best of the season and was a considerable improvement over its playing in the first Yale game. Van Vleck was easily the best player on the floor; he shot four baskets from the floor and threw three from fouls.
