Meanix '19 have all done the quarter in fast time and will do good work in this event. Captain Teschner, who has been running the 440 indoors, may also be used in the quarter in outdoor meets. These men will help to fill the vacancies in the 440 made by the graduation of W. J. Bingham '16, A, Biddle...

Enwright '19 is now in good standing with the Office, and will make a great bid for an infield position as he is a heavy hitter although...

Coolidge '16 the team lost a fast fielder and a hard hitter and it will not be easy to fill his place. G. A. Percy '18, who broke up more than one game last year by his timely extra-base hits, and J. Knowles '18, regulars on last year's team, can fill any position in the outfield. E. L. Casey '19, captain of last year's Freshman team, and C. Wyche...
...department of the Naval Reserve has come into existence recently on account of the increased value and activity of the submarine in modern naval warfare. Beginning with the efforts of a number of individuals who built a fast type of small cruiser for the destruction of submarines, the movement has been received most favorably and finally the Government has authorized the organizing of patrol boat squadrons along the Atlantic coast. A course is now being given at the Charlestown Navy Yard as a part of the instruction for admittance into the Naval Reserve to enable...
