...hate fat people. Or least I did, up until about six weeks ago. My utter annoyance with the obese seems—like obesity itself—to be inherited. Except for petite and pudgy me, everyone else in my immediate family is tall and exceedingly trim. And, as if our disgust with the overfed were genetically predetermined, we have all had run-ins. Take my brother, for example, who while spending the summer on his college campus at University of California at San Diego (a hub for summer teen overweight camps), found a cruel humor in luring the fat...

He has little room for maneuver: the payout was written into a U.S. contract agreed to last July by two Vivendi directors, Marc Viénot and Edgar Bronfman Jr., to persuade Messier to depart quickly and quietly. The full board rejected the contract days later, after...
...reason nudists offer for going around without clothes is relaxation: as confining garments fall away, so do the worldly responsibilities that they signify. Many nudists--especially women--also argue that the nudist subculture prizes body acceptance, meaning they don't have to stop eating carbs or fat; there is little Botox here...
