EDITORS DAILY CRIMSON.- Last Monday a communication appeared from a man who seemed to favor hour examinations, "especially in hard or doubtful courses." I think that it is in just such courses that hour examinations are most disagreeable. When a man is in a hard course he works for all he is worth, and the time spend in grinding for an hour examination is taken from other courses, which have to be "cut" or neglected.
