Princeton won the toss and chose the east goal, having the wind in her favor. Corbin dribbles to Beecher, who gains ten yards before being tackled. He loses the ball, however, and Ames regains the ten yards lost. A wild pass to Savage gives Yale fifteen yards, and ineffectual tries by Price and Ames force Princeton to her ten-yard line. Savage makes a magnificent punt to Yale's forty-yard line. Watkinson kicks, Ames returns the kick and Cook falls on the ball. Yale starts off with a run by one of the rushers which is followed by a run by Beecher which gains a good deal of ground for Yale. Dudley downs Morrison and Gill, the latter gaining ground, however. Morrison gains nothing, but Beecher breaks through and makes a touchdown behind the posts, from which Watkinson kicks a goal. The ball is placed in the middle of the field, and Holden, by two rushes, gains twenty...
