...first page of the sixth session of the Summer School of Geology shows that during the coming vacation the geologists among the students will be given an opportunity for field work that will prove no doubt very attractive and profitable. Although heretofore the sessions have been uniformly pleasant we feel that we are justified that the plan laid out for this year surpasses them all. The Catskills and the Berkshire Hills are charming summer retreats and the advantage of combining pleasure with work thus will be made easy.
