This just delights Mike Feinstein, a Green member of the city council in Santa Monica, Calif. The ponytailed pol came to office by way of spiritual soul searching overseas--he has backpacked in 29 countries. He cut his teeth protesting a commercial development in Santa Monica. On a Bush ticket, he would likely appeal to many of the same voters that McCain was able to bring into the political arena. California Sen. Diane Feinstein has also had a distinguished legislative career and supports gun control, abortion rights and health care initiatives. Either would be solid additions to the respective campaigns, but neither carries the overwhelming appeal of Powell and Mitchell...
