Students for a Humane and Responsible Economics, an undergraduate organization that has challenged Feldstein and his curriculum since 1996, has posted a petition on the web supporting an alternative to Ec 10. He could replace classes and reading units that give leftist economists only token representation, such as in his lecture on Social Security reform, with a more pluralist presentation of economic principles and their application.
