...Iraq last weekend delivered a 12,000-page declaration of its WMD activities as required by UN Security Council resolution 1441, and by week's end Bush Administration officials were decrying it as a recycled fib that failed even to address the questions left unanswered by the last inspection regime which departed in 1998. ...tell a good lie--or at least it must seem that way to Sandra Baldwin, the first woman to be named chairman of the U.S. Olympic Committee and, as of two weeks ago, the first to resign the post. As far as anyone knows, Baldwin had not told a fib in years, but the last one she did tell was a doozy. On her widely publicized resume, she misrepresented the school from which she earned her bachelor's degree and listed a Ph.D. she never finished. ...Friends.") Jack's vocals and guitar are sharp and plaintive and precise, and Meg's rhythms have drive and swing. Predictably, they wish their music would get all the attention, and don't speak on the record about the sibling issue.
