Amherst was shut out, 5-0 by the University baseball team in a well-played game at Soldiers Field yesterday afternoon. W. B. Felton '19 held the Purple batters to three hits, two of which were of the scratch variety, and was given good support by his teammates. The University nine showed a marked improvement in every department of the game, and played a far better brand of ball than they have exhibited in any game this season.
