Yesterday afternoon, on Soldiers Field, the Hopkinson School nine defeated the Seniors 6-3 in an uninteresting one-sided game. Hopkinson had everything her own way after the fourth inning, when hits off Harris, aided by Garrison's and N. P. Hallowell's errors, scored three runs. Adams was substituted for Harris in the next inning, Hopkinson hitting him at will for three more runs. He steadied down, however, and pitched the game out well...

...Seniors played strongly at times, but seemed to lose control of themselves when men were on bases. Two of their runs were scored in the sixth inning on a base on balls to Harris, Field's first on an error, and a single and double by Scott and Dunlop.
