...Cambridge Bridge Commission, composed of the mayors of Cambridge and Boston, and Mr. E. D. Leavitt of Cambridge, has authorized the drafting of plans for the construction of a bridge to replace the present one on Boylston street, near Soldiers Field, which connects Cambridge with Brighton. The new bridge will be a temporary structure, however, below the site of the permanent bridge, which will probably be built shortly. The object of the new bridge is to afford a traffic way during the building of the permanent bridge in the place of the present inadequate structure...
