SKATING.Why can't the Athletic Association give some skating-races this winter, and so help to fill up the dull season? A course could be easily laid out, on Fresh Pond or some other neighboring water, of say a straight quarter-mile, and races of a mile, half-quarter, hundred yards, etc., could be easily given.
