Would you be more likely to start a production company? Yeah, except when you start a production company, sometimes they make you film movies you don't want to do. I think I'd rather just make good movies that I respond to with great producers and act in other people's movies. But I don't know, that could change because the cool thing about production companies is you can have lots of things going at once and I do like to have lots of different projects on my burners...
...more. Director J.J. Abrams' version of Star Trek, the 11th movie to spin off from the original 1960s television series, catapults us into the Land Before Star Trek Began with a brisk, joyous romp that makes us consider renewing those vows. It's a real family film, relatively light on the violence and funny without being overly crude; it even has some touching moments. Those with encyclopedic knowledge of all things Trekkian may sputter over tinkering with the mythology, but it's all justified - not particularly tidily, but handily under the kind of time-traveling clause you might expect from...

A campaign to save the rain forests launched by the Prince on Tuesday is based on a 90-sec. film that he hopes will go "viral" and relies on state-of-the-art software and Internet strategy honed during Barack Obama's presidential campaign...
...Nothing we did for President Obama was magic," Gensemer adds. "It was about making the barrier low for individuals to be part of the effort." By that measure, the Prince's campaign scores highly even ahead of the launch. The central message of the film - which can be seen here - is contained in one pithy sentence: "Every year destruction of the rain forests releases more carbon dioxide into the atmosphere than all the world's cars, planes and ships put together." But all that is initially required of viewers is that they watch the film, pass it on through social...
