...very sensitive Cramer dry-plate about four inches long and 1.5 inches wide, was put, film side up, into a wooden box, having a close-fitting sliding wooden cover. Upon the sensitive plate were laid two clear glass slips, less than one sixteenth of an inch thick. A space was left between them about four inches long and one half an inch deep.
