...those who want the physique essential to varsity football there is always the outlet of intramural or class athletics. The gifted souls will find their way into the varsity line-ups, despite physical handicaps. Class football seems the best medium for athletic expression for the light weights, because it emphasizes what little attention we now pay to the ideal of "sport for sport's sake" and does not add fuel to the flames which burn at the altar of the God of football.
