This afternoon the first of the interdormitory bumping races will be rowed up-stream over a one and three-eighths mile course, starting from the Boylston street bridge, and finishing at the upper end of the long stretch beyond the second bend. A stake boat will be placed at this point and all the crews will finish at the same place. The races will be rowed off in two divisions, starting at 3.15 and 4 o'clock respectively. ...progress of the University crew squad during the past week has been fairly satisfactory. Coach Wray has paid almost exclusive attention lately to the marked tendency of the crew to dip too deep on the catch, and to wash out at the finish of the stroke. Several changes in the make-up of the crew have been made. Sargent has taken E. Bacon's place at stroke, Bacon has gone to 6, Lunt to 4, Morgan to 3, and Faulkner to bow.
