After winning from the Orange, the golfers have easily defeated in succession Wesleyan, 9 to 0; Amherst, 6 to 0; Boston University, 6 to 0; and Holy Cross, 9 to 0. Finlay has made the most consistently low scores turning in several cards below 75. He has been closely followed, however, by W.P. Arnold Jr. '31, C.S. Eaton '32, E.B. Murphy '31, J.B. Early in the season they defeated Syracuse, 5 1-2 to 1-2; then Wesleyan was outplayed, 9 to 0; and Wednesday afternoon the team whitewashed Amherst, 6 to 0. In this match the first foursome played an unusually close match, Finlay defeating Halligan of Amherst on the nineteenth hole and Baldwin winning, one up.
