...small fire in one of the Physics 3 laboratory rooms of the Jefferson Physical Laboratory startled members of the staff shortly after 1 o'clock yesterday afternoon. An alarm was sounded, but the staff managed practically to extinguish the blaze before the arrival of the apparatus.
