...Still, it is important not to paint consulting with over-broad brush strokes. Whil firm policies and cultures exist that encourage recent college graduates to feel more valued and involved than their entry-level counterparts in other professions, the abundance of teams, mentors and collegiate metaphors does not erase the fact that consulting firms are populated by extremely ambitious and "overachieving" people.
